T hese are short, four module courses for parents, teachers, classroom assistants and others who would like to improve their knowledge of specialist areas. The courses are written in an accessible, engaging style that makes study easy and enjoyable, while still providing a comprehensive introduction to the area concerned. Each course is packed with practical suggestions and ideas.
 
The course includes an attractive A4 folder containing all of the course materials required, plus a course textbook and full tutorial support for the duration of the course. Each course involves approximately 28 hours of study time. Students can work through this at their own pace - either completing the course in just a few weeks, or working through it more slowly.

You can contact your tutor directly at any time if you have any questions or problems, or if you would just like a chat about how the course is going. Tutorial support is by e-mail and/or telephone.

You can spread the cost of your course over 4 monthly payments  by choosing our instalment option. There is a £20 administration fee if you choose this option

Instalment price £185: Deposit - £55; four monthly instalments - £32.50 each. If booking on-line: £160.25; deposit - £55; four monthly instalments - £26.31. (This includes an administration fee of £20.) You will only be charged your deposit at enrolment.

Understanding Dyslexia

The course guides you through the different types of dyslexia and explains how this condition can be identified, as well as considering the challenges it presents. The course includes many practical suggestions for teaching and supporting children with dyslexia, both in the classroom and at home. The course book, Overcoming Dyslexia: A Straightforward Guide for Families and Teachers by Beve Hornsby is packed with useful practical tips.
