They range from introductory to professional level, and we also offer a range of practical courses. Counselling Theory introduces some of the key ideas behind counselling, while Counselling Skills is a practical, 'how-to' courses. These introductory courses are ideal for students wishing to develop key skills, and also provide a good foundation for those planning to go on to further study. Our newest course, Online Counselling, offers a solid grounding in the application of counselling techniques to online communication and explores ways of establishing an effective online counselling service.
Our advanced counselling courses include the Counselling Diploma, as well as Counselling Children and the complimentary Counselling Children and Young People, which look at specialised areas of counselling in depth. They are particularly suitable for qualified counsellors, or for those who find themselves offering counselling support without relevant training. You might also wish to complete one of these courses if you are contemplating work of this kind.

We also offer professional level courses in Horticultural Therapy, Life Coaching and Mentoring Skills, or Mentoring Skills (schools). Learning Curve is an organisational member of the Association for Coaching, and committed to the ethical development of coaching as a profession. Our Life Coach training is in line with the association's code of ethics and good practice. Our psychology courses include a specialised look at Child Psychology, and Sports Psychology, as well as a general foundation course in Psychology. We also offer a number of short, introductory courses in Child Psychology, covering subjects such as Play Therapy, Understanding Autism and Understanding Dyslexia.
