Today it is one of the most popular forms of relaxation therapy available, but it is also widely used as a general beauty treatment. This course introduces the basics of aromatherapy, and shows how it can be of benefit in your own life, and to family, friends and even pets.
Study topics include: extracting and using aromatic oils; preparing aromatic oils; creating your own natural perfumes and body care products; the role of massage; guidelines for safe practice.

Students have up to three years to complete this course, allowing them to work through the modules at their own pace. On average, however, it takes students around 10 - 12 months to complete the course, based on 2 - 3 hours study time per week.
